You would be the primary point of contact, responsible for providing your sales expertise, guidance and helping to drive all commercial activities within the account.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • An ideal candidate would have a Life Sciences Degree (PhD strongly preferred), with a broad knowledge of Cell Culture, Molecular biology (PCR, QPCR) and related experimental techniques or equivalent work experience (Life Science with exposure to biotechnology)
  • Some prior commercial experience would be an advantage
  • Exposure to the research and development laboratory with a sound understanding of the current marketplace for laboratory equipment, consumables is be strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated, with a genuine desire to work in a commercial organization, good organizational and team work ethic as well as time management are required
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to negotiate successfully and present data in an engaging manner
  • Ability to develop excellent partnerships with Customers across a range of settings including one-to-one meetings, exhibitions and formal presentations
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Web-based and other digital platforms
  • Discipline and diligence in maintenance of records & general administrative duties.
  • Valid driver’s licence & willingness to travel on a weekly basis (c.60%) within territory, plus regional & national meetings
  • Effectively perform duties while acting in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
  • Smartly presented at all times and have a professional approach when dealing with customers and key stakeholders.
