Job Description

· Analyse and evaluate current I.T systems and services

· Identify system requirements

· Map and document interfaces between existing legacy and new systems

· Review and identify options, creating solutions that fit the business from a technical and commercial perspective

· Conduct requirements analysis workshops

· Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners and service providers

· Translate non-technical requirements into highly technical specifications

· Create High-level design documents (HLD’s)

· Develop, analyse, prioritise, and organise requirement specifications, data mapping and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow.

· Work closely with technical teams to ensure the technical viability of solutions

· Create and execute test plans based on business process to ensure rigorous testing before rolling out live systems

· Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate competencies and experience in the following areas:

· Proven experience as a system analyst and ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions

· Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· A methodical approach and attention to detail to ensure the development and implementation of effective solutions

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong understanding and experience of Software Development life cycle processes and methodologies

· Good business acumen and commercial awareness with a solid understanding of how organisational processes work

· Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities and work to deadlines

· Experience working on complex Business Change/Improvement, Strategic, BAU and I.T service transition projects


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Experience/exposure with MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS (Team Foundation Server)

· Azure DevOps and CI/CD frameworks, BDD (Behavioural Driven Design) Automated Build / Automated Release, API integrations (REST / SOAP) are desirable
