Job Description
You will be responsible for the tactical and strategic development of our customer’s freight and supply chain requirements. Your role will involve building and growing a partnership for future business activity with the customer. You will need to understand the customers’ business and supply chain strategy to ensure the company to match their requirements. You will work closely with the Team in developing enhanced solutions and service offerings for the customer while also identifying projects for ongoing process improvements
- Ensure that all the stations are clear on operational and quality requirements for the customer lanes.
- Monitoring the entire Customer branded shipping lanes from manufacturing and distribution sites into and within the customer region
- Support/produce agreed business management reports to applicable timelines and attended business review meetings
- Develop enhanced cost effective cold chain service offerings for client to ensure product integrity whilst in transit
- Arrange and propose cost effective solutions for outbound transportation whilst maintaining client delivery performance.
- Constant monitoring of customer satisfaction and clarification of queries
- Management and maintenance of rates structures, SOPs, KPIs etc...
