You will be self-motivated, able to work alone or in a team and have excellent interpersonal and IT skills. Previous experience in a retail role would be an advantage but not essential. You will enjoy challenges and problem solving and working alongside the retail team to meet their unique needs. You will have a passion for numbers and an analytical mind. Attention to detail, accuracy of data input and prioritising tasks are essential.
This is a full time position working 36.5 hours per week initially for a fixed term of 2 years.
You are responsible for managing multiple stores on campus providing a diverse product range to best support our communities requirements and preferences. We specialise in food and drink, however also provide University clothing, memorabilia, and specialist stationery. Our team also manage an online grocery provision for campus residences and alumni memorabilia purchases.
This role supports the department by ensuring systems are maintained and developed to maximise the customer experience in store. You'll work closely with your manager to ensure a wide offering of products and promotions are effectively sourced and maintained on our systems, so we are able to provide a consistent service to our customers.
