Job Description

We are seeking a Trainee Management Accountant to be based at our Head Office to support the finance team as follows:

• Assist in performing general ledger functions and costs control
• Reconciliation of various Bank Accounts
• Fixed asset register and reconciliation of various elements of purchase and operating Leases
• PAYE & VAT reconciliation

You will also be involved in analysing financial data, providing general finance support and job costing development for senior management, ownership and development of various complex excel reporting models and preparation of the statutory accounts.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Currently working within an Accountancy role.
• AAT qualified or working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, qualified by experience will be considered.
• Capable of working under own volition in support of the Finance Director and Senior Management Accountant.
• VAT / PAYE / Payroll experience.
• Effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with complex models.
