Job Description

You will support the implementation of a Business Process Improvement program across the North region. Having an overview of manufacturing costs, Stock, Labour costs, supply chain cost. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
To complete monthly reporting in line with business requirements and timescales, providing detailed information and analysis that covers both fixed and variable costs

• Reporting on Production Labour Cost & Unit Cost
• Investigating Production Variance
• Analyzing key manufacturing variances and working with the Operations team to develop recommendations for how manufacturing efficiencies can be optimized
• Analyzing Material Usage and Price Variance
• Reviewing Overhead allocation by Department/Product.
• Developing Supply Chain and Manufacturing KPI’s
• Monitoring stock levels and provisioning
• Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Business plan and strategic plans.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified accountant e.g. ACA/ ACMA/CIMA/ACCA
• Awareness of financial controls relevant to a manufacturing site
• Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to recognize emerging issues
• Ability to work with a wide range of people from other teams
