Job Description
- Own and manage the regulatory and safety provisions affecting the Company's product range, for example Machinery Directives, CE and ad hoc international compliance
- Identify new international standards relevant to the Company and implement accordingly.
- Improve, maintain and manage the existing Quality Management System and Company Operational Handbook
- Work with a range of external consultants with specific domain knowledge in key areas.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience within a similar position from a manufacturing environment
- Expertise and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Qualifications or experience in internal auditing relevant to ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO45001, ISO 27001.
- Proven history of compliance to UK OHS Law including but not limited to: HASWA, MHSWR, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, Pressure Safety Systems, DSE, First Aid, Ionising Radiations, RIDDOR, PPE, REACH, Fire Safety Reform.
- A good understanding of other Standards relating to Business Continuity, GDPR, Environment (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 22301).
