- Be part of the team that ensure governance is produced at regular periods throughout the year to ensure that regulatory requirements are met
- Preparation of accurate month end journals for authorisation within the financial reporting system.
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to prime data sources including variance analysis.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, accruals and prepayments schedules.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual returns
- Processing monthly payroll, answering queries and any related issues in a timely manner.
- Providing assistance and support with both internal and external audits.
- Working with the management team on Finance initiatives and process improvements where necessary.
- Support colleagues with Accounting for Tax, Accounting and Auditory information where required
- Design, prepare and produce regular and ad hoc, accurate and timely Reporting for our customers
- Prepare complex ad-hoc requirements to assist customers with their needs in a professional format
- Create & Implement system and reporting developments to deliver streamlined processes, reports and efficiency's
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:
- Be Based in South Wales, Newport
- Received up to £30,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
