Job Description

Your key focus will be opening all new and additional account requests in a timely and efficient manner whilst ensuring all of the information on applications is completed and correct and that authorized signatures have been received.

  • Activate accounts on legacy systems when appropriate
  • Review information available on up trade requests
  • Resolve queries liaising with Sales team
  • Complete the Supplier Watch report daily/ weekly
  • Set payment terms for new accounts
  • Manage the assigned work pool station: Pre credit check, New Accounts email pot, Awaiting account number insert and Additional account pot
  • Credit check applications using nominated credit agencies in line with company policies
  • Advise Team Leader on any issues or discrepancies on rejected credit checks
  • Data input of credit applications details onto legacy systems to generate account numbers and activate account where necessary
  • Discuss account applications and rejections with our Sales representatives

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Your strong organizational, communication and computer literacy skills will be fully utilized in this role. Alongside these you will need to have

  • Be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft and G Suite packages
  • You will have strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work and manage your time effectively
