Job Description

Main tasks will include maintaining the Completions Accounts trackers to make sure internal and external stakeholders meet deadlines and checking various documentation as required.

Also, will have responsibility for the provision of information to external accountants for the apportionment & completions accounts process and helping with the apportionment & completion accounts journals, particularly for month-end.

  • Chasing/flagging deadlines and maintaining tracker(s)
  • Purchase ledger uploads
  • Journal creation & posting
  • Setting up physical/electronic files
  • Collating/filing for reviews
  • Requesting & chasing information from other departments
  • Updated 1301-s
  • Payment requests
  • Statutory accounts/corporation tax return checks
  • Opening balance sheet movements file for cash flow
  • Maintaining fees file
  • Any other tasks as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong academically
  • Well organized; a logical planner able to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Effective communicator, confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to meet own deadlines and to ensure others meet theirs
  • Good IT skills – including intermediate Excel
  • Good team working skills and work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail, and able to deliver right-first time results quickly
  • Positive and energetic disposition
  • Flexible and committed approach, with a desire to meet company objectives
  • Experience of OpenAccounts would be an advantage
  • An interest in a career in finance
