Take responsibility for our carbon intensities database and its data sources which are utilized in our carbon calculation tool;
Create and maintain user-friendly and intuitive labels, descriptions and explanations of our carbon accounting data and methodology for use in the tool;
Support customer testing and providing guidance and support to customers in using the product;
Contribute to product development, including GHG emissions reporting and reduction target-setting within the tool;
Lead on research and product development to establish GHG Protocol and SBTi net-zero compliance for the tool;
Create and run webinars, “how to” videos and other supporting materials for customers using our carbon calculation tool;
Build an expert network and engage with the sustainability-minded business community.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
University degree, ideally in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or other sustainability-related discipline;
3+ years’ experience in GHG accounting or other experience relevant to the role;
Experience of delivering carbon accounting services to small, medium or large organizations;
Excellent understanding of the Corporate Greenhouse Gas Protocol and related emissions- and life-cycle assessment standards (e.g. Science-Based Targets initiative, PAS 2060);
Excellent communicator and advisor on topics relating to GHG emissions, carbon accounting, and corporate sustainability, with the ability to distil complex data/research and deliver presentations to non-expert audiences;
Proactive, analytical and an effective problem-solver, with an excellent eye for detail;
(Desirable) professional qualification and/or working experience in carbon accounting and corporate sustainability;
