Job Description

This will be a varied role involving the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, (review of) bookkeeping, tax compliance, liaising with HMRC and dealing with client queries. A good working knowledge of cloud accountancy software such as Xero is desirable.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified, ACCA/ ACA part qualified/ recently qualified or qualified by experience with a background in accountancy practice. • Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Corporation tax computations
• Preparation/ review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
• Preparation of management accounts
• Liaising with HMRC
• Training clients on accountancy software
• Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA/ ACCA Student/ Part Qualified/ Qualified
• AAT Qualified/ QBE
• Practice experience is essential
