Job Description
  • Data processing and reconciliations both at clients premises and in the office
  • Bookkeeping to accruals and prepayments level
  • Preparation of VAT Returns
  • Assistance on accounts preparation
  • Other ad-hoc duties
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients
  • Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and other products
  • Ability to reconcile all control accounts
  • Ability to work unsupervised (Required)

Working arrangements
The working week: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) to be worked from 8.30AM to 5.00PM with flexibility of hours to meet specific work demands.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • At least 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • At least 2 year’s experience within an accountancy organization
  • Knowledge of:
  • Xero
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Accountancy package such as IRIS, SAPA etc. (desirable)
  • Sage Line 50 (desirable) 
  • Ability to deal with tasks on a timely basis
  • Communication ie, speaking to clients and colleagues
  • Enthusiasm coupled with drive and determination
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment
  • Ability to perform well as an individual
  • Self-manage work loads
  • Competent in setting own deadlines and meeting organization deadlines
  • Flexible to work longer hours when required e.g., to meet deadlines and projects.
