• Learning all aspects of the ION Science business, range of products, technologies, applications and industry sectors we operate in
• Work alongside our internal sales support, sales and service teams to deliver customer satisfaction pre and post-sales. Providing a customer focused support structure, promoting the ION Science brand as world-class support
• Fully understand industry sectors our products are used in and applications our products are used for
• Recognise opportunities for improvement and work with internal departments such as sales, service product management, research and quality
• Utilise JIRA (A customer Feedback and Change Management System) to ensure that all product support challenges are correctly documented
• Identify and review contracts with third parties and customers to ensure that information is up to date and accurate, paying particular attention to dates and any payment agreements set in place
• Use of HubSpot (a cloud-based CRM designed to help align sales and marketing) for qualified leads in sales and customer queries
• To be familiar with Import / Export procedures to assist all Sales Units and Sales Channels with enquiries and offers to ensure compliance and a full understanding of Customer’s needs.
• Identify which products could work best in certain industries and express your ideas to the Marketing Team
• Work alongside internal support teams in sales and quality control, to offer solutions to customer challenges
• Utilise existing software systems available to ensure product improvement feedback is logged through the correct channels. Customers must be answered in a full and timely manner and feedback must be communicated with team members
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge and skills in MS office tools and administration
• Sales experience
• Customer product care
• Experience in a technical or manufacturing background
• Familiarity with JIRA and HubSpot
• Knowledge of Import & Export procedures
Training will be provided on our products as well as on JIRA and HubSpot and Import / Export as needed
