Job Description

• Production of weekly management reports
• Preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, bridges, variance analysis and commentaries.
• Analysis of financial performance and contributing to business planning and forecasting
• Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers
• Deputies in absence of Financial Controller
• Review budget spending monthly and provide variance analysis.
• Validate and ensure that transactions performed in systems within the business are translated into the financial ledgers correctly.
• Prepare and provide financial information for month end process and audit in the form of a Balance Sheet reconciliation pack
• Management of fixed assets register

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate is likely to be a part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) but candidates that are qualified by experience with relevant work history will also be considered. You will need to be a clear communicator and strong excel skills are a must.
