Job Description
- Ownership of Purchase Ledger Mailboxes and ensuring all queries are actioned and resolved within the teams required timeframes – 24 hours for urgent queries e.g., disconnection notices, 3 days for non-urgent e.g., change of bank details.
- Helping to ensure we hit our surgery SLA’s:
- No urgent query older than 24 hours
- No non-urgent query older than 3 days
- All surgery queries resolved, and surgery responded with outcome of investigation.
- All on-stop / solicitor letters resolved same day.
- Ensuring correct addressing on statements and payment requests, challenging suppliers if not
- Delivery of excellent service to surgeries and suppliers to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Escalating complex issues to ledger owners, but maintaining ownership of that issue through to resolution, and following up if response not given within required SLA
- Filing up to date daily
- Purchase Ledger admin duties as required – Including answering phone calls and dealing with post.
- Any other tasks as directed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be currently studying AAT (or similar) / or completed qualification and able to work to a high degree of accuracy. You will be confident of dealing with a high-volume workload and have clear and confident communication skills
You will have proven ability to meet deadlines and excellent IT skills. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and a strong team ethic. It would be desirable if the successful candidate has experience of Open Accounts and Excel skills including V look ups and pivot tables.
