The key responsibilities for this Audit and Accounts Semi Senior position at a leading accountancy firm based in Newport are:

• You will assist on audits for wide ranging clients.
• Alongside this, you will have a mixed role with additional involvement in the preparation of statutory accounts, most commonly under FRS 105, 102 and 102 1A for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, either from incomplete records, or accounting software.
• You will assist Managers and Partners on wider project work as you develop within this team and role.
• You will be developed and encouraged to progress technically within this environment and the role offers an excellent opportunity for the right professional looking to further their career in the profession.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• An AAT qualified and/or, studying/part qualified/ finalist ACA/ACCA accountant.
• You will have at least one to three years or more accountancy practice experience in your career so far across the mix of audit /accounts.
• Desire to further your career within the profession with increasing responsibility and progression on offer, as you carve a key position within this successful team and growing firm of chartered accountants.
