Job Description

The role will ensure accurate and timely preparation and processing of the company’s bi-weekly payrolls and support enquiries from employees and line managers. Hybrid working arrangement. Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepares, reviews, reconciles the company’s bi-weekly payrolls (US & CA).
  • Corrects timesheets in an accurate and timely manner
  • Complies with agreed processes and identifies any process improvements
  • Processes withholdings, deductions, wage garnishments, or other special payroll actions and changes affecting net wages.
  • Escalates payroll issues.
  • Follows wage policies, procedures and work methods associated with assigned duties.
  • Maintains current knowledge of city, state, provincial, local, and federal legislation affecting payroll.
  • Contribute to the attainment of team KPIs and SLA measures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experienced in working within a large high-volume payroll team
  • Ideally experience of a Shared Service operating environment and within a third-party payroll provider environment.
  • Experienced at working across multiple jurisdictions in the US
