Job Description
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Implementing statutory changes from HMRC such as tax code changes and student loans.
  • Liaising with HR and applying changes relating to alternative working arrangements, post moves, temporary promotion and promotions.
  • All types of statutory leave/payments including SMP, ShPP, SSP etc.
  • Processing employees' expenses and overtime in a timely and precise manner whilst adhering to company policy and procedures
  • Occasionally manual calculations in case over/under payments on pay slips

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience of working in a payroll function
  • Proven numeric skills.
  • Information technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Written/drafting skills.
  • Analytical skills/data interpretation skills.
  • Organizational, administrative skills.
  • Experience of effectively working as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail
