Job Description

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysing financial information and producing reports
  • Budget variance analysis
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT figures for VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Reconciliation of ledgers
  • Responsibility for forecasting including profit and loss and cash flow
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Supporting the wider finance team
  • Supporting with payroll as and when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previously worked in a similar finance or accounts based role Excellent computer literacy including a good systems knowledge Excellent communication skills Working towards an accountancy qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, etc. (desirable, not essential) Knowledge of payroll procedures (desirable, not essential)
