Job Description

The team provides front-line administrative support and advice to students and academic staff while focusing on delivering excellent customer service.

Our student support is provided in person, by telephone and online via email or chat so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important as is having a sound judgment when dealing with confidential information. You’ll have a positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach, be self-motivated and innovative when taking on new projects. Having the confidence to liaise with a range of people and talk/present in front of colleagues and students is a must for this role.

The role is essential in providing support to our students and therefore it can be very busy at times. You need to be comfortable managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.

With two A-levels or a vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent, you will have excellent customer service skills having worked in an administrative customer focused environment, ideally in Higher or Further education. You will be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of working with information management systems. You will have the ability to plan and progress work activities and be adaptable to meet deadlines.
