Job Description
You’ll be passionate about the drinks culture, be one of the best mixologists in the business as well as supporting the customer experience by engaging with our visitors. You will also help with food service within our outside dining area.
You’ll provide an amazing customer experience by engaging and exciting our visitors with your skill, knowledge and personality, implementing innovation around our overall portfolio with a focus on company. Ensuring that every visitor has an unforgettable experience, you will work with a customer first mindset and build specific experiences and drinks tailoring service to meet the needs of the customer.
You will generate advocacy for the brand, by delivering incredible guest experiences in a high-end service environment being able to surprise them with your mixology and skills behind the bar as well as guiding guests through our distillery experiences, boutique retail offering and food and beverage programmes. You will provide the highest levels of service to guests in our food and beverage areas as well as being accountable for stock control.
You will act as a whiskey and cocktail educator for guests as well as a vital resource for sales teams to support and encourage customers in engaging with our portfolios.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be successful, you’ll bring creativity and have top mixology skills as well as extensive knowledge of spirits, particularly whisky, and cocktails. This role requires the highest standards of customer and professional service and you will have worked extensively in a high end hospitality venue, passionate about customer experience and elite drinks.
You’ll have experience of creating cocktail menus in accordance with customer trends, in order to be a true brand ambassador for Diageo and creating unforgettable experience for our customers.
** Experience behind a bar is essential **
You’ll have strong interpersonal and communication skills and previous experience of stock control is also key.
