Job Description

You’ll get to learn and work across all disciplines and be a key part in helping us find the people we need to help us continue scaling.

  • Ensuring our interviews run like clockwork; owning their coordination and scheduling, prepping the candidate and interviewers and following up after every interview
  • Our ambassador for our candidate experience, to make sure that every touch point we have with our candidates provides them with a best in class experience
  • Helping to organize and run our recruitment events such as university careers fairs and networking talks
  • Supporting our Talent Acquisition Partners with CV shortlisting
  • Monitoring and managing our jobs inbox
  • Carrying out various recruitment administration on our ATS - setting up adverts, managing vacancies and data reporting
  • Supporting with interviewer training and building out internal recruitment resources
  • Carrying out admin support for social media campaigns, or other recruitment marketing activities where needed
  • Handling visa applications and right to work checks, making sure our new hires are supported at every step
  • Making sure that joining Gearset feels special, preparing employment contracts and offer letters and organizing an exceptional onboarding journey with us
  • Learning and developing and building your skills within your role. As well as having loads of opportunities to share your feedback and ideas about how we can continually improve.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent working experience
  • A desire to progress a career within in-house recruitment or within a People team
  • A fast learner, someone who can demonstrate they have the ability to learn, and apply this to deliver results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be passionate about people
  • Superb organization, time and diary management skills - this is absolutely key for this role!
  • A flexibility and willingness to adapt to fit the needs of the role, with a panache for context switching
  • A natural talent for prioritization to ensure that the most important projects are always on track
  • A team player to help shape our rapidly-growing company
  • An ability to thrive on using your initiative, identifying opportunities to make a difference and willingness to get involved and try new things
  • Some experience in working within a HR/recruitment environment
