Job Description
- Manage all accounting operations
- Produce timely monthly management accounts
- Create management reports as required (variance analysis, project profitability, budgeting, forecasts etc.)
- Payroll oversight (for staff in all country locations) and PSA/P11D reporting
- VAT returns
- Oversee and involvement with day-to-day bookkeeping and maintenance of ledgers.
- Bank and currency revaluations, bank account management
- Prepare and coordinate regulatory reporting, complying with reporting and tax filing requirements (including in our subsidiary companies)
- Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g. bank, international subsidiary accountants, auditors, insurers) on a regular basis
- Monitor, develop and manage business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Expenditure control
- Audit compliance and management of yearly audit
- Fixed Asset management
- Line management (currently 1 assistant accountant)
- Client contracts, purchase order and terms review
- Foreign subsidiary finance, contracts and insurance interactions (some US accounting and tax experience preferable)
- Staff benefit management and related HR functions (from a financial perspective).
- Ability to manage special accounting projects including transfer pricing, foreign tax assessment and more, working with external experts.
