To provide administrative support for the Administration Manager
Be able to work as part of a team
Able to download and process referrals using a bespoke dental referral management system
Log and record all referrals received into the service on a daily basis using Excel
Deal with day-to-day queries using own initiative to resolve issues within guidelines
Accurately input and update data
Ability to work to deadlines and targets and able to work under pressure
The ability to prioritise and organise own workload in an efficient and accurate manner
Good organisational skills and able to pay particular attention to detail
Handle enquiries from the general public, members of the dental and medical profession and other disciplines
Liaise between the service and other departments within the Trust
Booking appointments, compiling referral letters and liaising with Dentists and Oral Surgeons ensuring all the appropriate information and notes are available
Maintain the clinic diary to ensure that all available surgery time is utilised appropriately across multiple clinics
