Job Description

As a Store Manager you’ll lead by example as this role is about inspiring the team around you to deliver the highest level of service to our customers, whilst ensuring that all colleagues are happy, motivated, well trained and feel proud of their role within the local community. It’s a varied and challenging role that requires excellent leadership and communication skills ,along with a hands-on management approach. You will also be required to maximise sales by consistently delivering excellent store standards. Key responsibilities • To lead, support and motivate the store colleagues to provide exceptional standards of customer service • Drive sales by ensuring the store is fully stocked and well merchandised • Full accountability for all cash and stock controls within the store • To take responsibility for the organisation and communication of store related activities such as training, induction, recruitment and resolving any HR issues. This role requires a flexible approach, as you will be required to work early mornings and some late nights. In recognition of the additional responsibility that managing a Post Office brings, this position attracts a discretionary supplement.
