This is an exciting new role, focusing on providing general administration, including reviewing incoming communications to identity priorities, data entry and accurate maintenance of records (website, research publication lists and database), monitoring expenditure against budget and processing invoices and expense claims. The successful candidate will also act as the first point of contact for enquiries and provide diary management and supporting meetings. The role holder will also be responsible for arranging travel and accommodation and organising events, seminars and meetings for the group.
The successful applicant will be educated educated to A Level standard or equivalent standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience. Proficient in the use of IT, the applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and webpage and email packages. Excellent organisational and communication skills are also required together with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team. The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
