Job Description
The successful candidate will support and assist the Transport Supervisors by operating the Transport admin function to meet depot targets and provide the best possible service to our customers within economic constraints whilst maintaining excellent staff relations.
- To maintain consultation and communication with all key stakeholders, managers and drivers, customers as well as other relevant department managers and staff.
- Distribution of delivery paperwork and control of handhelds
- Creation and collation of departmental statistics
- Resolving driver queries
- Support and liaise with external contractors to ensure country locations are delivered in the most cost efficient way.
- Maximise fleet utilisation
- Onboarding new drivers
- Support completion of mandatory driver training
- Audit, monitor, implement and ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation including tachograph compliance
- Cost control
- Driver rostering
- General administrative duties
