Maintain good housekeeping standards, keeping the office area clean and tidy, challenging any non compliance. Ensure working in a clean and safe manner (Clean as you go policy).
Communicating with Hauliers daily to book transport for depot deliveries, and general queries
Book drivers in and out on the site traffic system.
Provide customer picking sheets, order information, and transport information to the despatch team regarding collection priorities.
Responsible for generating clear and accurate delivery notes and load plans.
Capture data on excel spread sheets that will be used for the department KPIs and invoice checking.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent organizational skills
A keen eye for detail
Experience in a labour intensive, high volume, fast moving environment supplying retailers, probably gained within the Food, Fresh Produce or Horticultural sectors.
A good level of administrative experience, Microsoft office, work and excel
A high level of attention to detail on data entry
Excellent communication skills able to work effectively with the different business areas and key stake holders
A logical methodical operator, happy to work independently
Ability to work well when under pressure and working to tight deadlines
