Job Description
  • Preparing despatch documents and providing a collection/delivery request sheet
  • Arranging reject returns, logging when received back on site
  • Returning signed POD documents to Commercial Office, highlighting any discrepancies
  • Logging onto customer portals to book shipping slots and ASN’s (UK only)
  • Providing transport booking details for purchase orders raised by Commercial office
  • Reporting production delays to Commercial Team
  • Advising of collections not made by couriers
  • Creating a dispatch log of all shipments
  • Sage data entry

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must be happy to work as part of a team
  • IT skills an advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Attention to detail
  • Level 3 or above in GCSE in English & Maths
  • Sage Line 50/CIM50 MRP an advantage, but not essential
  • Confident and experienced with business emailing
  • Confident to learn telephone expediting
  • Dealing with incoming calls and redirecting to correct person
  • Any other duties as required
