You will be expected to undertake a variety of administrative tasks such as:
Management of a new patients referral through the electronic system and allocation to an appropriate clinician as required.
Deal with any queries that arise, passing to the clinical team as appropriate
Respond to telephone enquiries appropriately.
Perform administrative tasks as necessary including photocopying, faxing, scanning, data processing and database management in support of the operational functions.
Be prepared to work within a larger multidisciplinary team, including providing cross-cover of other positions in times of leave or other absences (sickness, compassionate etc)
Be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and during face-to-face discussions with patients, Consultants and visitors.
