Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory reports (COREP, FINREP, PRA and BoE regulatory returns)
• Update capital adequacy assessment (ICAAP), liquidity adequacy assessment (ILAAP), recovery and resolution plan (RRP) and Pillar 3 disclosures
• Prepare annual report and financial statements with external auditors
• Keep up to date with regulatory developments
• Monitor risk management measures and early warning indicators
• Prepare annual risk management plans reflecting regulatory changes
• First line responsibility for managing bond & derivative valuation including communication with the third-party valuation agency
• Conduct KYC and AML checks
• Support and assist Senior Managers and Directors on an ad-hoc basis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1-3 years+ working within finance and accountancy role in Financial/Professional Services (preferably within Banking but not a necessity). Experience and understanding of the above duties. Part qualified and looking to complete an accountancy/finance professional qualification (will consider ACCA as well as CFA) Preferably bilingual: fluent Korean & English (due to internal communication with the Korean side of the business). Strong academic background: Degree educated within a finance related field The client is looking for candidates to cover the Senior Manager at times so you will require a broad understanding of both the role and more generally, the banking industry.
