Job Description
  • Dealing with customer enquiries relating to their travel and holidays
  • Drafting letters and emails
  • Answering a busy telephone and dealing with inbound calls
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
  • Follow up to ensure resolution is satisfactory
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous customer service-based role
  • Professional and calm telephone manner
  • Excellent letter writing and grammatical skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Being able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Proactive nature
  • Must be competent in using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Preferably have a knowledge of the travel industry
