Job Description
  • Managing stock requirements by looking on the system, carrying out service calls and via email
  • Managing the stock system by regularly monitoring and updating
  • Highlighting any low, high or no stock accordingly
  • Identifying the needs of stock and processing orders through the internal system in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the pricing is correct when processing order with supplier
  • Chasing on any outstanding orders as directed by the Purchasing Manager
  • Ensuring effective and clear communication both internally and externally
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Registering warranties on new items and processing warranty claims to meet deadlines
  • Supporting in other areas as and when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Keen interest in purchasing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Able to communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Organised, Motivated and have a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to learn and enthusiastic attitude
