We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to establish communication and maintain regular contact with designated accounts whilst recognising the customers’ individual needs and presenting a viable solution. Tasked with parts and service revenue growth and building relationships over the telephone, the ISR will develop customers into regular call cycles and act as primary point of contact offering advice and support for their own customers.

Main Duties

  • Maintain regular call cycle, build customer relationships, offering relevant products and services, grow account revenue via parts and service sales, ability to sell CSA’s. Promote all channels to purchase i.e. online etc.
  • Personal Development – Attend regional meetings, visit own customer base, customer visits with field sales reps (overnight stays may be required) to aid ISR to progress into field sales role.
  • Manage an existing regional customer database of circa 300 customers via telephone; maintain CRM and develop customer/Finning relationships
  • Active promotion of marketing campaigns, promotions and events
  • Effective maintenance relating to call cycles; planning of repeat calls to accommodate customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate account details and machine population with own account database to aid marketing initiatives
  • Manage all online leads/inbound calls on a daily basis
  • Develop strong relationships with prospect and assigned customers
  • Connect with key decision makers
  • Become the account manager for the customer; recommend Finning support services relevant to their needs and provide the customer with the best solution
  • Be an advocate for Digital solutions, actively promoting our eCommerce & Customer Experience platforms where possible

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong sales orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Innovative thinking coupled with creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Professional telephone manner
  • The ability to work independently whilst thriving in a sales team environment
  • Demonstrate excellent persuasive and communication skills to ensure a positive outcome
  • Achieve set call targets per month
  • Grow parts and service revenue by a set target percentage per annum
  • Ensure agreed target revenue for lead generation accounts is achieved
  • Generate a targeted amount of personally closed/won parts and service revenue
  • Experience within a sales environment would be an advantage
  • Sales experience is desirable
  • Good PC skills is essential, with ability to learn new systems
  • Previous experience with CRM
