Job Description

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Support the preparation of month end management accounts and insight reports for the Head of Finance
• Maintain fixed asset register, calculating all depreciation's and accounting for these
• Process journals, accruals and prepayments
• Monthly balance sheet review and reconciliation alongside bank reconciliations
• Ad hoc support to the Head of Finance on technical submissions such as financial statements and tax payments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will ideally be a minimum of AAT qualified and will ideally be studying/looking to study a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). You will ideally have had some exposure to month end reporting, management accounts or trial balance preparation, and will be confident working with autonomy. Candidates will be inquisitively minded with a desire to get into the business and understand key metrics and drivers, speaking with stakeholders on a regular basis.
