Job Description
This charity’s mission is highly topical at the moment and the Finance Manager role will offer the opportunity to partner with colleagues and third parties across the globe. Duties for this role include but won’t be limited to:
- Check that partner organisations have satisfactory finance processes and policies in place.
- Review their financial controls and ensure they have an efficient financial reporting process in place.
- Arrange and attend (virtual) meetings with key partner organisations to carry out reviews of their operations and finances.
- Continue to mature guidance related to financial management and provide long-term coaching to the partner companies ensuring any risks are highlighted and mitigated.
- Liaise with the Finance Business Partners and financial accounting team and assist with the audit schedule.
- Carry out necessary due diligence and assess financial tools and templates and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure the finance system is kept up to date.
- Work closely with the CFO to review and develop resources and accessible training to the wider organisation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate must:
- Be a qualified Accountant.
- Have strong knowledge of either SORP, GAAP or FRS 102.
- Be an excellent communicator.
- Have experience working in a multicurrency environment.
- Have proven experience working with third parties.
