The main objectives and challenges of the role are outlined below:
Working with the board on a strategy towards continued profitable growth and operation of the company
Partner with the Managing Director to manage 3rd party relationships with advisors including banks, insurers and legal representatives
Design and execute an improved MI pack to be developed in line with the board and key stakeholders
Attend monthly board meetings to present key findings and strategy matters
Ensuring the finance team is proactive and on hand to support the business during a period of significant growth and change
Work closely with non-finance budget holders and stakeholders to challenge assumptions, drive performance and maximise profit
Managing the statutory year end accounts and management of the audit
THE CANDIDATE
An accomplished senior finance professional is sought for this role who can demonstrate a strong track record of success within growing, fast-paced environments. Key requirements are:
Qualified Accountant with significant experience in financial leadership roles
Must have experience within a fast paced, high volume environment
Strong experience within businesses in the £30m - £100m turnover range
Preferably experienced within an owner managed business environment
