Job Description

They are looking for a reliable, self-motivated candidate, who is willing to learn and work as part of a team. There could be potential to grow within the company. Knowledge of the logistics industry would be an advantage but are willing to train.

Work ethic and the right attitude to join this busy department is essential

You will need excellent attention to detail and work towards tight deadlines.

  • Communicating with customers and drivers keeping on top of collation of PODs
  • General administration – Post/filing/sorting PCNs/checking incoming invoices
  • Being in control of the mailbox
  • Keeping updated spreadsheets of outstanding PODs
  • Taking bookings
  • Using our Smart System for approval of PODs/approving driver bills for payment
  • Document checks
  • Ensuring all compliance is completed prior to deliveries
  • Work well towards deadlines
  • Supporting the team with any other administrative duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels verbally and written
  • Previous experience within an office environment
  • Work well under pressure
  • Computer literate including excel
  • Commit to a minimum of 3 months
