Job Description

The main purpose of this position is to deliver a efficient HR service, supporting starters and leavers, contract variations, processing absence and providing timely and accurate information to support other processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment process.
  • This will include the preparation of information packs for vacant posts, the closing of advertisements and associated procedures along with organization of candidate interviews
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Team, to include support in the form of minute taking including minutes of formal meetings
  • To raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices for payment using the internal database, including recruitment advertising, training invoices, stationary, child care vouchers and DBS invoicing.
  • To assist the Recruitment Consultant in the management of the DBS process, including management of ongoing checking process for current employees and new starters.
  • To co-ordinate Learning and Development events as required
  • All other transactional HR duties as required across the department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous HR Administrative skills
  • Strong team player and able to work well under own initiative
  • Very organised with excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
