Job Description
You will provide support in monitoring the financial progress of projects within the accounting system. Key accountabilities include;
- Analysis and reporting on all public funded and collaborative projects
- Management of Project related data, ensuring the accuracy of data is captured in the system
- Prepare and maintain accurate process and procedural documentation
- Ensuring that submissions and claims submitted to Public Bodies are in compliance with all rules and regulations
- Review claims and ensure that all costs are accurate
- Providing support to the ad-hoc audits performed by the Public Bodies
- Monitor and review project budgets, to ensure any exceptions or variances are reported to the Project Accountant.
- Provide support with month end reporting
- Providing project information to key stakeholders, including the senior Finance Team, Legal Department and Public Funding Mangement Teams.
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis work on projects and any other requirements needed by the Project Accountant
- Support the Projects Team, and wider finance team as required
