Job Description
  • Analyze financial and non-financial records and combine these to create and report meaningful management information for the Development side of settle’s business
  • Review or produce account reconciliations
  • Support budget holders through the budget cycle
  • Support budget holders with coding and other finance queries
  • Ensure all period end deadlines are adhered to
  • Operate with transparency and ensure excellent record keeping for audit trail
  • Prepare and present management accounts and reports to the relevant internal stakeholders in the business
  • Own the accounting processes and provide timely information
  • Support the management reporting process
  • Assist with the internal and external audits
  • A basic must!
  • Methodical, organized, efficient and effective
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Practical knowledge of word processing and spread sheets
  • Work unsupervised

  • Maintain a good working relationship with internal customers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A qualified accountant/equivalent
  • For added brilliance!
  • Consistently looking for ways to better support operational staff, improve reporting, engagement and relationships and understanding of budget holders
  • Previous experience in a housing association, preferably within the development finance team
  • Previous experience of investment appraisal tools
