Job Description

The role will consist of providing advice on car, home & van insurance new business sales, customer service and administration. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, motivated and disciplined individual with a positive can do attitude.

• Issuing motor, home and van insurance quotes on both an inbound and outbound basis
• Dealing with customer queries
• Cross selling Insurance Products
• Meeting and exceeding monthly targets for both quotations issued and sales closed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• CIP, APA Personal General or grandfathered qualification
• Expert product Knowledge
• Profound knowledge of competitor activity
• Persuasion and influencing skills. Selling skills, negotiating skills
• Customer retention skills
• 2+ years insurance experience preferably in a brokerage
• Have a clear focus on sales & wish to build their career in this area
• Be committed to provide a high level of service to customers & potential customers
• Self-motivated with a desire to continuously perform at a high level
• Exemplify positive customer service behaviors and promote a culture focused on ensuring customers’ needs are met
• Through leading by example, fosters the highest standards of ethics and integrity
• Ambitious and results orientated
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
