Working as part of a team of 5 this role will initially support the team to clear a backlog of work, there are also future plans to upgrade their current finance system which will require additional external support to cover the management accounts. The main responsibilities are as follows -
- Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and journals
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, commentary and analysis
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and projections
- Assist with year end and with the preparation of the draft statutory accounts
- Work closely with the auditors providing them with information as required
- Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce regular cashflow reports.
It is essential that you have proven experience in the above listed duties and that you are comfortable running a month end process with minimal supervision, you will ideally be available to start at short notice.
