Job Description
The resonsibility of the Finance Assistant will be:
- Responsibility of the Purchase and Sales ledger
- Posting bank transactions and preparing bank reconciliations
- Preparing accruals and prepayments
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Assisting the finance director with month end procedures
- Supporting the with monthly P&L Analysis
- Balance Sheet Control account reconciliations
- Oversee Credit control
- Assist the wider finance team with the yearend stat accounts and audit.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate:
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
- Studying towards a relevant accountancy qualification such as AAT
- Advanced Microsoft office
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well within a team and across all levels outside of finance
