The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative support to the corporate governance team, including the Director of Corporate Governance, undertake typing, word processing, oracle ordering, data entry and other based IT tasks and arrange corporate governance meetings, including identifying suitable dates and venues as well as the setup of the rooms and IT equipment on the day.
The post holder will be expected to manage their own workload and therefore act independently. The post holder will be responsible for comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative support to the Corporate Governance team, including the Director of Corporate Governance.
We welcome applications from enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be liaising with a wide variety of personnel at all levels both internal and external to the Health Board. We are seeking an individual who can communicate effectively and sensitively with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Excellent time management and the ability to use own initiative is key. The candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
