Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Academic and Financial Planning & Analysis (AFPA), and with functional line to the Secretary of School, this role is a core member of the School's senior leadership team with collective responsibility for:

• Strategic leadership in enabling the development and implementation of the School-wide Academic Vision;
• Supporting Departments and Faculties achieve academic objectives, and facilitating the alignment and contribution of the School-wide Academic Vision to University-wide strategies;
• Implementation of and appropriate investment in new academic priorities; and
• Primary functional responsibility for budgeting, allocation of resources and operational financial management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The role-holder has primary functional responsibility for resource allocation and budgeting, and for providing strategic and operational financial leadership and management, management of the School Finance office and its staff, and liaison on financial matters with all institutions across the School.
