Credit Controller
Full-time, Contract
Job Description

The credit controller responsibilities will include but not restricted to:

  • To ensure the collection of fees within the agreed time frame, as per company policy.
  • To liaise directly with fee payers, agents and guardians regarding accounts, maintaining accurate records of associated chase activity and follow up actions required.
  • To build effective working relationships with staff, sales and admissions teams, and the Central Finance Team in order to quickly and courteously answer queries from agents and fee payers.
  • Support to the Revenue Manager by proactively reviewing and improving procedures for cash collection.
  • To enter annual discounts onto accounts where fees are paid in advance.
  • To record payment adjustments to accounts, for example deduction of commission at source, inter-company transfers, and transfers between accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have previously worked in a fast paced environment where building relationships is key. Having experience within the not for profit sector would also be highly advantageous although not essential.
