Job Description
Working on a hybrid basis, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller or Commercial Manager to provide financial and operational support. Typical duties may include:
- Providing research regarding new clients
- Monitoring WIP levels on unopened cases
- Ensuring fee rates have been set up correctly
- Preparing draft scope and estimates
- Analysis on projected profit margins and monitoring as matters proceed
- Billing support - carrying out monthly housekeeping meeting with fee earners
- Dispatch invoices
- Tracking actual against forecast for billing pledges
- Track profitability to manage current discounting and assist with pricing for clients
- Other adhoc administrative/finance support to the team
