Job Description
  • You will plan and forecast the weekly production cycles using our ERP system and other systems and ensure that customer requirements for product delivery are met, within agreed lead times.
  • Effectively utilize data from ERP and other systems, to effectively plan our production schedule, and advise lead times to the Sales and Senior Management teams.
  • You will monitor production daily, always ensuring stock levels are correct on the ERP system.
  • Regular and effective communication with the sales team to meet client delivery expectations.
  • Ensure that ETA's are communicated to our clients when required, and advise and agree on all delivery dates with our clients in advance of orders being dispatched.
  • You will establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Develop a good understanding of component and raw material codes and 'Bills of Materials'
  • Communicating short and medium-term requirements to suppliers;
  • Ensuring on-time materials availability to enable 100% plan realization;
  • Management and detailed analysis of obsolete and slow-moving stocks;
  • Managing suppliers;
  • Liaising internally with the Logistics, Operations and Quality departments;
  • Liaising with U.K. based and international suppliers, customers, and transporters;
  • Experience of working in a FMCG/ pharmaceutical/automotive manufacturing environment;
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
